BACKUPS. How do I?

? make backups and keep a file of these?

Go to Tools/Backups/Backup Entire Project and take note of the date in Project notes that you are making a backup, so you can find that backup easily.

? make regular backups?

The normal yWriter backups should be sufficient to protect you from a yWriter failure, but you should also make regular backups (copies) of your folder(s) in which the project data is held.
Note that if you try a beta version and have problems with it, you can always go back to your previous production version of yWriter by going to Tools/Debug/Open settings folder and running yWriter7Upd.exe, which contains the last production version of yWriter that you loaded. The beta version will be in yWriter7BetaUpd.exe.
