M6.net just offered to sponser my web site. I've been trying to squeeze everything into 30 megs of space through my ISP for the past 3 years, and now it looks like I'll have 8 gigs to play with.
I have another half dozen utilities and programs which I've always wanted to make available to people, but have never had the space for. Sounds like a good opportunity to put them online.
What kind of programs, you ask? I have a web site builder which I used to generate this site and a file sync program which I wrote to perform daily and weekly backups of my data. I have a Beta version of yWriter3, with a tree view and many improvements over yWriter2. A program called yZip will take every file in a folder (and sub-folders) and pack them into individual zip files. yTimer will run up to 10 countdown timers with audio and visual alarms. Quite useful for eBay tragics - you can set a countdown for 3 days, 4 hours, 25 minutes and 17 seconds (for example) and forget all about it. Of course, it means you have to be next to the computer when the alarm goes off but if you're addicted to eBay that won't be a problem, will it?
